the Purpose

The Lion Fish is a Houston Zoo Conservation Education Program for children 9 to 12 years of age. The Lion Fish curriculum introduces students to real-life conservation issues and teaches them how to be advocates for wildlife by participating in fun activities, learning important facts about our environment, and taking action in their communities.

The assignment was to create a Houston Zoo children’s flyer using two colors variations of blue & orange were fun choices to get kids excited about the new zoo exhibits at the Houston Zoo. The solution was to the client’s design problem was a detailed vector illustration of a lionfish paired with a pattern to create even more visual interest
