Thoughtful coffee
Purposeful design
Built entirely from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver,

Coffee, reimagined.
Built entirely from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver, Grounds for Thought is a fictional coffee shop website designed to feel as warm and intentional as the first sip of your favorite roast. This project explores handcrafted branding, responsive layout, and custom-coded user experience—all grounded in clean visuals and approachable energy.
A site as smooth as your favorite pour-over.
The layout emphasizes clear hierarchy, ease of navigation, and a welcoming visual rhythm. Subtle transitions, intuitive spacing, and hover interactions give the site energy without overwhelming the user. Whether you’re exploring the menu or checking shop hours, every interaction feels fluid, simple, and true to the brand.
Built from the ground up with thoughtful structure.
Every part of the site—from the layout to the styling—was hand-coded without templates or shortcuts. Working in Adobe Dreamweaver gave me full control of the development process, allowing for a lightweight, responsive experience that adapts seamlessly across screens. It’s a digital space that feels just like the coffee shop it represents: welcoming, clean, and intentionally designed.
Branding Isn’t Just About the Logo—It’s About Feeling
Grounds for Thought was a valuable exercise in bringing a fictional brand to life through design and code. It taught me the importance of consistency—from logo to layout—and how to build a web experience that feels both custom and comfortable. It’s one of the early projects that shaped my love for blending branding with hands-on development while still packing personality into every pixel.
